Oh, deer. It's now time to head to Nara - one of the main highlights of my first Japan trip. It is home to the well-known Nara Park where one can spend the day feeding the deers, or walking to the nearby temples. The deer has been respected and protected as divine messengers by local people since legend tells of a god that came to Nara riding a white deer.
